Thomasville Home Furnishings announces store closings, sale

Thomasville Home Furnishings, one of New Jersey’s most distinguished furniture store operations, will close two of their six store locations in Eatontown and East Hanover. A store-closing sale will begin on Feb. 15.

Owners Ed Massood and Michael Massood announced they have made the strategic business decision to close both stores and begin a search for new locations in Passaic and Monmouth counties.

“We have enjoyed a tremendous relationship with our customers and the communities of Eatontown, East Hanover and the surrounding areas for many years,” the Massoods said. “With the many changes taking place in the retail landscape, we felt the timing was appropriate to close these two stores.”

“Our valued customers will continue to be serviced through our service center in Edison and our retail stores in Paramus, Princeton and Woodbridge.”

The Lynch Sales Company, an internationally known sales promotion specialist based in Grand Rapids, Mich., will coordinate the sale.

“We expect tremendous crowds due to the low prices we will be offering. Everything, including our newest merchandise, will be included in this sale,” the Massoods said.
